Alison Sweeney initially left in 2014 to pursue other projects but has made several comebacks since then. She came back in 2020 and even appeared in Days of Our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas, last appearing in the show in December 2022.

Fans Adore Sami Brady

Sweeney expressed her excitement about returning to the show, although she admitted to feeling nervous. Despite her extensive experience, she finds shooting TV movies less demanding than soap operas. For instance, Hallmark films involve filming eight or nine pages per day, while Days of Our Lives demands over 30 pages of memorization.
