In a recent statement, singer Taylor Swift encouraged her fans to use their right to vote in the presidential primary election on March 5th on Instagram. Swift is still touring, but apparently, this can’t stop her from using her platform and making a statement!

The Presidential Primary election was held in Tennessee and 16 other states and territories. Taylor Swift urged her fans to vote for the people they wanted to be represented by: "If you haven't already, make a plan to vote today". Taylor was preparing to perform in Singapore on March 9th, but she still used her platform to make a difference. Some journalists even pointed out the influence Swift has had when it comes to inspiring people to vote.

Although she didn't mention anything specific this time, Taylor Swift has previously been very vocal about her beliefs. She addressed it in her Netflix documentary and has made statements on Instagram before. The singer supports human rights and stands against any form of discrimination. She said she would vote for someone who would fight for equality for all Americans.
