Lifestyle icon Martha Stewart took inspiration from another fashion legend at a brunch she hosted at the Blue Box Café inside the Tiffany’s Fifth Avenue flagship store in New York City. She paid homage to the late actress wearing an elegant and sophisticated outfit inspired by Audrey’s classic look. Read on to find out more about the event.
Martha Stewart’s Audrey Hepburn-Inspired Look
Martha Stewart honored Audrey Hepburn by appearing in her signature look: a black dress, a minimalistic pearl necklace, and a chic up-do hairstyle that reminds us of Breakfast at Tiffany’s. The cookbook author had added her own personal touch by going for a long-sleeve black dress and a larger necklace that definitely stood out!
She had paired the outfit with pear-drop earrings and a silver hair clip. Chef Daniel Boulud, who also leads Blue Box Café, helped her host the brunch event.
Embracing New Challenges
Stewart shared that Chef Boulud had provided the perfect atmosphere to capture the team of the brunch: the infamous Breakfast at Tiffany’s, a lovely afternoon tea at Tiffany’s, and casual all-day dining with a delicate French touch.
In May, Martha Stewart appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue. She shared that she was excited about new challenges and opportunities. 30 years ago, she would have loved to have been a cover model, and now that she had a chance, she didn’t even hesitate about it. In her opinion, it’s important to face both beauty and intellectual challenges, even philanthropic ones. She feels proud to be able to do this cover and accomplish something not everyone would accomplish.
