If you’ve watched The Golden Bachelor spin-off, you remember that Leslie Fhima was the runner-up and lost to Theresa Nist, who ended up getting the Golden Rose. Unfortunately, things didn’t go well for Leslie even after the show ended. She also had to get an emergency bowel obstruction surgery. But what was her reaction to the wedding invitation?
Leslie’s Answer to the Wedding Invitation
It may or may not surprise you, but Leslie doesn’t hold any grudges against Gerry and Theresa. Despite having undergone surgery, the former professional dancer did attend the wedding ceremony, which was broadcast on ABC on January 4. A day before the wedding, The Golden Bachelor runner-up posted a video on Instagram saying she was excited to support her friends on their special day.
Fans were happy to hear that Leslie was feeling better after she had to spend her 65th birthday in the hospital on December 31. She shared she had had a bowel blockage and severe cramping and also claimed that the issue was caused by scar tissue from an appendectomy when she was 18 years old.
Other The Golden Bachelor Attendees
Leslie wasn’t the only contestant from The Golden Bachelor who attended the wedding. Susan Noles was chosen by Gerry and Theresa to host the ceremony, as the three of them got extremely close during the show. She said she was happy to officiate the wedding and didn’t even ask why they picked her.
On December 2, during one of the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast episodes, Theresa claimed she would invite every single one of the contestants. Back then, she was unsure if Leslie would come, but it seems like Fhima is super excited about the happy couple. On New Year’s Eve, she shared an Instagram post, saying she had had an amazing 2023 and was ready for 2024 to arrive.
